What is your primary product or service?
Our primary business is auditing and paying freight invoices for companies that ship products. We also provide them with reports that allow them to track their shipping expenses so that they can reduce their transportation costs and run their business more efficiently.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
National Traffic Service started as as post-audit service in 1956. Freight bill audits were performed manually then. Today, the industry is technologically driven through the use of electronic data interchange, optical character character recognition and web-based analysis and reporting tools,
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are a medium sized freight audit and payment company. We are large enough to offer the latest technology within the industry, yet small enough to customize our services to our clients' specific needs and requirements.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
All of our processing is done at our corporate headquarters in Amherst, NY.
